“Relighting that old spark!” – relit, 2024
For our product we collect old candles, pre-used wax, and also some recycled wicks to create new candles. Here at relit, we personally melt those old candles and use their wax to create new ones and give them new life. In this way, they will be able to bring light to people’s homes. Our company recycles materials that are found in people’s houses and fashion them into decorative items that can be stored and used in people’s homes!
At relit, we give candles new life, hence our slogan! We’re giving them that ‘old spark’ by helping to reuse the material and also relighting the spark of peace that one feels when one lights a candle.
In one of our products, such as the one you can see in our website, we collect old jars, clean them, and use them to hold the candle itself! Our candles contain locally sourced and recycled items that we give new life to! Other candles are themed candle molds.
In other words, we’re helping Malta recycle these materials that we would throw out, and relighting that old spark. When it comes to our candles, here are the types of candles that we provide here at relit:
- Candles made inside old recycled glass jars!
- Cylindrical candles that can have customisable messages carved into them!
- Simple Christmas tree candles for the season!
- And for the next holiday season: heart candles for Valentine’s day!
